Wendy grew up in Whiteville, NC and is a gradute of East Carolina University with a degree in Fine Art. She worked in the fields of architecture, graphic design, and photography for many years, before coming full circle to painting. Her photography is the basis for many of her abstract-impressionist landscapes.
Wendy’s work is in several private and corporate collections across the country as well as England. She has shown at The Design Gallery in Burnsville, The Crossnore Gallery in Linville, the Soho Myriad in Atlanta, GA and The Wells Gallery in Charleston, SC. Her work has been included in three juried National Group Exhibitions at the Arts Alliance of Winston-Salem.
